Rapper J-Kwon is upset about the media fuss caused by his recent 'disappearance' - because he feels sorry for the scores of families who are really searching for missing relatives.
Executives at Gracie Productions issued a public plea for help on Wednesday, alleging the Tipsy hitmaker had not been seen by his loved ones since the beginning of February.
But J-Kwon, real name Jarrell Jones, claims he had no idea about the search until he received concerned calls from friends.
And he's frustrated by critics' claims the incident was a publicity stunt, insisting he wasn't looking for attention.
He tells AllHipHop.com, "Things get taken out of hand. On top of that, there are other families that are really missing people and my heart goes out to them. I'm not trying to promote anything. I just prayed about it and moved on."
