2009-11-02 22:01:00

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Browns have fired general manager George Kokinis, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Kokinis, in his first year as GM, was escorted out of the Browns facility in Berea by security Monday, the paper reported.

Cleveland has struggled to a 1-7 start this season under new head coach Eric Mangini. The Browns, who are coming off a 30-6 loss to the Bears on Sunday, have a bye this upcoming weekend.
