In conjunction with The Stephen Siller Children’s Foundation & FDNY retired and active members. Friday, November 20th at 7:30pm at The East Village Tavern, 158 Avenue C, NYC (212) 253-8400. $10 cover charge @ the door. Drink specials all night ($4 domestic drafts/ $4 house brand mixed drinks) *Sports memorabilia raffle to be drawn at 10pm*
Our goal: Have fun while raising money to purchase toys for children in the Gulf. Retired & active FDNY members have been making an annual pilgrimage to that region since Hurricane Katrina. It has evolved into an annual toy drive. Please help us help them. Thanks-The Crew from the Katrina Toy drive

PURRfect Companion Adoption Event & Bake Sale

Petsmart in the Watchung Square Mall located off of Route 22 West in Watchung, NJ is hosting a huge adoption event with Lifeline Animal Rescue Group to find loving homes for many cats and kittens. Lifeline Animal Rescue saves displaced and abandoned cats from certain death by giving them a second chance at life, but they need your help. Stop by our event to make a difference and save a life. Now is your chance to adopt the PURRfect Companion just in time for the holidays! Donations of cat food, old linens and money are greatly appreciated.

Saving the life of a greyhound is so rewarding. In 22 years, Greyhound Friends of New Jersey has rescued thousands of retired racers. Come to their biggest fundraiser, the 13th annual craft and pet expo, hosted by actress, Linda Blair, on Saturday, November 21st from 9am-4pm and Sunday, November 22nd from 10am-4pm at the Somerset National Guard Armory, 1060 Hamilton Street in Somerset, NJ. Find gifts for two and four-legged friends, food, a raffle, Santa photos, even greyhounds for pre-approved adopters and more.

They have joined together with the HRI Girls to gather t-shirts, cd's, flyers, posters, stickers and the like to show their support for our troops that are serving our country overseas and who cannot make it home for the holidays. They are accepting t-shirts from any bike shop, hot rod shop, tattoo shop, car club, music groups, etc…Cash is also accepted and will go toward the printing cost as well as the shipping costs.
