YunHa
A South Korean born pop singer and piano player, YunHa (aka Younha or Go Younha, born April 29, 1988) got her first taste of success in Japan, where her single "Hokui Boshi" was a top twenty hit and the closing tune for the popular anime Bleach. Her next few releases in Japan would fail to match the success of "Hokui Boshi," and 2007 she returned to her native Korea to have a go at that nation's pop market. Her first album there, 2007's Go Baek Ha Gi Jo Eun Nal (or The Perfect Day To Say I Love You) was a huge hit, topping the album charts. Later that year, YunHa re-released her debut album (entitled Go! Younha, it was originally only released in Japan) in Korean, under the new title, Comet. In 2008, Younha once again departed home shores to pursue her career in Japan. The album/DVD Songs -- Teen's Collection was due out early that year. ~ Chris True, Rovi
