Singer and guitarist Yvonne Doll was born in Cincinnati, OH. The daughter of a music teacher, music was always a part of her life. She started training early, taking piano lessons for over a decade, guitar lessons for nearly that long, and even spending four years learning to play the alto saxophone. There never seemed to be any other dream Doll wanted to reach for, other than a professional music career. She worked hard at it, performing at bars and coffeehouses. At her very first gig she lost her guitar pick. It was replaced by one donated from a member of the audience. The panic from that night has never been forgotten and Doll has carried a pocket full of extra picks with her to every show since then.
