Vicki Adams
Vicki Adams
Singer and songwriter Vicki Adams grew up way down south, in the lower part of Louisiana, where good food and good music was -- and is -- a part of everyday life. There were a lot of things and artists that influenced Adams early on. She is a descendant of talented musicians who showed up on both sides of her family tree. Her father, Tex Adams, and her grandfather, Caesare Masse, each performed worldwide. Near the end of 1999, young Vicki Adams saw the release of a solo debut, Hanky Panky Blues. The blues-, and even Cajun-, flavored country album carries tracks like "I Believed," "Rodeo Cowboy Blue," "I Thought I Knew You," "Lonely Girl," and "Cajun Baby." Adams works with a band called Delta Delivery. Members of the group include Ricky Leas, Kimbeaux Keeting, Matt Toon, Laurie Gibson, Roy Crawford, and Ricky Adams.
