Argentinean death metal/black metal foursome Furcas was formed in 1998 by drummer Ernesto Fossati (also known as Sir Nacho), guitarist Fernando de Maio (aka Deforme), and singer Rodrigo García (aka Tortu Chakal), soon, composing original songs based on Nietzche's philosophy. The band was joined in March of 2000 by bassist Lars Rosenberg, who was previously playing with Scandinavian metal bands Therion, Entombed, and Monastery.
