Pop singer Victoria Beckham, otherwise known as Posh Spice, is a well-known personality in her native Britain as well as a member of the '90s girl group the Spice Girls. Born Victoria Adams in Hertfordshire, England, in 1974, she was interested in music and performing from a young age, and attended both the Jason Theatre School and Laine Arts Theatre College. In 1994, Adams joined the all-girl pop band the Spice Girls, where she was nicknamed Posh Spice by the media, who picked up on her regal, fashion-conscious image. During the height of the group's popularity Adams began dating British soccer star %David Beckham and the pair eventually married in 1998.
