Falkenberg, Sweden's By Night was formed in 1999 and gradually developed their sound over the course of several years and demos, eventually being named "Sweden's Best Unsigned Band" by ~Close Up magazine. Come 2004, the group recorded a split CD with Cipher System, then signed a contract with Lifeforce Records, which has since produced two full-length albums: 2005's Burn the Flags and 2006's A New Shape of Desperation.
