Country singer and songwriter Jesse Sheely grew up in New Oxford, PA, spending time in both New York and Los Angeles before settling in L.A. in 1996 when she was 16 years old. As a child she sang at church and family functions, and recorded a three-song demo in a professional studio in Nashville when she was only 12. In 1997 she signed a record deal with Mercury Records, but a restructuring at the label left her lost in the shuffle, and she moved on to sign a deal with S-Curve Records. A skilled and prolific songwriter, Sheely's songs have been covered by many country and Americana artists, and have been featured in several films and television shows. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
