This year, Carolina, our boss Tom Poleman, and members of the Larchmont Avenue Church traveled to Ticuantepe, Nicaragua to build two houses.  They were led by Ana Argudo and Jed Koball of Bridges to Community, a non-profit cultural exchange organization that brings volunteers to materially poor communities to work on ongoing community development projects.  (Learn more about their important work by clicking here).  Upon the team's return, Carolina created a slide show of their experience....

Carolina also hosted two shows about the trip on Z100's Sunday morning program Get Active; one before and one after the trip.

 Before the trip, Carolina, Ana Argudo and Jed Koball talk about Bridges of Community and why Carolina and Tom decided to go to Nicaragua.

 After returning, Carolina interviews 10 teenagers from the Larchmont Avenue Church about their experience in Nicaragua and how it's changed the way they look at the world.
