I had the absolute pleasure of attending a few shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to see the new 2013 Fall Collections. And what a blast I had! Of course, I took LOTS of pics. Here's the program for the collections I attended on Sunday, February 10th...

Before the shows, my friend and makeup artist to the stars William Miranda stopped by to make me look fabulous!

Didn't he do a great job?! Then it was off to Lincoln Center...

Once inside, I met my friend Oksana in the invitation-only Mercedes-Benz Star Lounge...

Hanging out in the Star Lounge was so fabulous because it allowed us to sit, relax, eat & drink while we waited on the shows to start.

Oksana & I drinking our Prosecco. Gosh, I can't tell you how many glasses of that good stuff we had, lol. And they had such great food to nosh on like chicken salad on walnut crackers & mini lobster rolls...

Then it was time for our 1st show, Tracy Reese! We were escorted from the Star Lounge to our seats in the studio & we felt like superstars...

I snapped that pick as we rushed to follow our escort.

Once in our seats, I noticed lots of reporters trying to get interviews with someone in the front row. After rubbernecking & squinting for a few moments, I realized that they were interviewing Angela Bassett! I was able to snap a picture of her...

It's a dark & blurry picture, but trust me, it's her. Lol ;-) Then it was show time!

After walking the runway, the models would exit into the audience & then into the backstage door. Tracy's Fall collection is quite lovely. And since I know that First Lady Michelle Obama has worn Tracy Reese on many occasions, I kept imagining which outfits would look best on her. And here's Tracy on the catwalk at the end of the show...

And just like that, the show was over. All that fuss & then it ends so quickly. After Tracy Reese, we headed back to the Star Lounge before being seated for our next show, Gusto Barcelona...

Oksana & I in the audience before the show. We also saw Miss J from "America's Next Top Model" in the front row. Then it was show time...

That last pic is of the designer coming out to take his bow after the show was done. Then it was back to the Star Lounge for awhile. And then we were pleasantly surprised to get a last minute invite to the Diane Von Furstenberg show! We were super excited because aside from the Tracy Reese show, the DVF show was the one we REALLY wanted to attend! So off to the show we went...

Of course, that last picture was of Diane walking the catwalk for her bow at the end of the show. I LOVED LOVED LOVED her collection! It was like a celebration of femininity. The clothes were gorgeous & sexy in a very classy way. LOVE! Btw, I also really liked that there were seats in the middle of the catwalk...very cool. And I believe I spotted Nicky Hilton in one of those seats on the catwalk.
After the DVF show, we hung out in the Star Lounge one last time while we waited for the Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan show to begin. I was invited to that show by ORLY & nail artist Miss Pop. If you scroll all the way back to my Z100 Jingle Ball blog entry in early December, you'll see that Miss Pop did my nails for the show...

So once it was time, Oksana & I headed to the same studio where the Tracy Reese show was held. But it looked so different & empty between shows...

We were escorted backstage to meet up with Miss Pop to talk to her about the nail art that she & ORLY created for the Emerson by Jackie Fraser-Swan show...

That's me with Miss Pop. It was really interesting being backstage at Fashion Week & seeing how things come together. Watch my interview with Miss Pop below...
